Emory Craig brings extensive experience in education, business, and the creative industries to his work on Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), including conversational AI models such as ChatGPT. As the CEO of Digital Bodies, he leads an international consulting group and oversees a popular website dedicated to news and analysis of emerging technologies. He has contributed to groundbreaking initiatives by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to develop policy guidelines and regulations for AI use in the European Union and OECD member countries. He is the co-author of pivotal publications, including the EDUCAUSE-ELI series, "VR and AR: Stepping into the New Frontier of Learning," and the inaugural iLRN "State of XR & Immersive Learning Outlook Report.” Emory's work aims to empower individuals and organizations to leverage the benefits of immersive environments and to utilize AI as a collaborative partner in enhancing human intelligence, creativity, and imagination. Selected as an Innovator in Residence at Arizona State University, he contributes to the ShapingEDU project focused on the future of learning. Emory has shared his expertise at conferences and workshops across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, consistently advocating for creative transformation in learning.
